Invoices
The monthly close that turns accrued commission into an invoice — the frozen snapshot, credits, small-balance carry-over, reminders, and no auto-suspension.
Commissions accrue through the month and close into a single invoice — a stable, downloadable record of what you owe Bookitive for the online tickets you sold. Invoices live under Settings → Billing.
The monthly close
At each month boundary, Bookitive sweeps that period's unbilled commission into one immutable invoice. Each invoice is a frozen snapshot: the seller and buyer details, the amounts, the exchange rates used for any currency conversion — all fixed at close time, so an invoice you downloaded last year still reconciles today, regardless of later changes to your profile or rates.
The invoice number doubles as the payment reference (variable symbol) — the same clean convention Bookitive uses for ticket orders, so paying your Bookitive invoice is itself a matched transfer.
What's on it
- Number, period, amount, status, and due date.
- A PDF you can download for your accountant.
- Invoices are issued without VAT — Bookitive's invoicing entity isn't a VAT payer — with exchange rates frozen onto the invoice for multi-currency fees.
Credits and small balances
- Credits (from refunded commission or granted by Bookitive) are applied automatically on your next invoice, before any payment is asked for — you never pay for commission a refund already clawed back.
- Tiny balances carry over. A month that accrues only a few crowns isn't invoiced on its own — the balance rolls into the next period so you're not chasing a 12 Kč invoice. The threshold is small and configurable platform-side.
Reminders, and no surprise suspension
If an invoice goes unpaid, Bookitive sends reminders (a few days before due, and after) — but there is no automatic suspension. An overdue account is flagged for a human conversation, never cut off by a script mid-event. Your sales don't stop because a bill slipped.
Because buyers pay you directly and Bookitive bills you separately, an unpaid Bookitive invoice never touches your buyers or your event — it's strictly between you and Bookitive, resolved like any other supplier relationship.
