Files

A per-event file drive with nested folders, uploads, previews, and search — plus Collect, public links that gather files from people outside your team.

Every event has its own drive — a place for the documents an event accumulates: the venue contract, the run-of-show, press photos, sponsor logos, the band's tech rider. Open it from Files in the event sidebar; the organization's Files page aggregates one folder per event so you can reach any of them from one spot.

The drive

A familiar file manager, scoped to the event:

  • Nested folders — organize however you like (Contracts, Photos, Logistics).
  • Upload — drag files in or click to choose; "several at once is fine", with per-file progress. Large files upload reliably in parts.
  • Browse — grid or list view, with name, size, type, and date; search across the drive.
  • Preview and download — inline preview where possible, download anytime.
  • New folder, rename, delete — the usual housekeeping (deleting a folder removes everything inside it, with a confirm).

Permissions are granular — viewing, uploading, deleting, and sharing are separate rights, so you can let a volunteer upload photos without letting them delete the contracts.

Two things the drive does beyond storage

  • Sharing — turn any file into a download link with an expiry and a download cap, for people who shouldn't have a login.
  • Collect — the reverse: a public link that lets outsiders upload into your drive through a form you design.

The drive is per event by design — files live with the event they belong to, and are governed by that event's file permissions. There's no shared organization-wide file store; the org Files page is a convenient index across events, not a separate drive.
